In November 2003, a ‘Name that Tag’ poster campaign in London launched, Liverpool and Manchester, offering a reward of £500 for information leading to the successful prosecution of prolific taggers. ‘Name that Tag’ is a partnership between the Home Office, Crimestoppers, Network Rail, London Underground, and British Transport Police, and sends a clear message to taggers that they have had enough of their nuisance and they will be caught. Within a few days the police had promising leads in each of the areas featured.
